Web Developer - PHP SQL
Are you an experienced PHP developer? Do you understand and use MVC while building websites? If you are then Spark Interactive needs you. You'll be a member of our engineering team while working with leading-edge technologies to create new ways for businesses and organizations to deploy thier own next generation web community. As a part of this team you'll be in on the ground floor of this exciting product launch and also share in the equity as it grows.
Requirements:
- You must be capable of working in an agile team environment where developer pairs deploy a project while also being able to take ideas and run with them alone.
- You also need to be versatile enough to pick up existing code.
- You will be asked to show some of your work during an interview so please come prepared.
Extremely Proficient in all of these:
- Programming Language: PHP
- Style: Strong OO Skills including MVC, CSS
- Database: MySQL
You should also be knowledgeable of the following:
- Web 2.0 concepts
- Social networking
- Online video, network TV
- Mobile apps
Some nice to haves would be great too:
- Experience with version control tools - Subversion, Perforce, AccuRev
- Experience with Joomla especially component development
- OS Server level experience with Linux
